COLOMBIAN ART AT THE DALLAS ART FAIR
For the fourth consecutive year, Beatriz Esguerra Art is pleased to participate in the Dallas Art Fair, featuring works by four established Colombian masters: painters Fernando Botero and Pedro Ruiz, and sculptors Hugo Zapata and Ricardo Cardenas. Alongside these artists the gallery will also exhibit works by Teresa Currea, Elsa Zambrano, Armando Castro, Carolina Convers and Max Steven Grossman, which the Dallas public and press have already appreciated in past years.

Working in a wide range of styles and materials, BOTH EXHIBITIONS emphasize the richness and diversity present in contemporary Colombian art. True to the galleries conviction of exhibiting artists and artworks that conserve the values of quality, intelligence, aesthetics, creativity, permanence, skill and authenticity, this group of artists promises to bring outstanding shows to Dallas.

“Colombian art is one of the world’s best kept secrets; a resounding subtlety, quietly shouting to be discovered. Artists are inspired and influenced not only by their constantly changing reality, but also by the varied politics, customs and histories that result from a complex geography” says owner Beatriz Esguerra. “Colombia is a country of passion, magical realism, beauty and humor. All of this comes through in its artists’ works.” (Outlet Mag, Jan 3, 2017)
