SYNCHRONICITIES
The works in this exhibition establish a series of dialogues between very dissimilar artists from different periods and movements. Composed of acrylic paintings and box assemblages, they form synchronicities that enrich the associations among these significant artists and their works; paintings and boxes whose union proposes new stories, much like a literary oxymoron where two opposing words come together to create new interpretations and meanings.
Throughout the creative process, various themes emerged, ranging from terrible wars to imagining, as in John Lennon’s song, a world “living life in peace.”

SINCRONÍAS
Las obras de esta muestra entablan una serie de diálogos entre artistas muy disímiles, de diferentes épocas y tendencias. Compuestas por pinturas en acrílico y ensamblajes en cajas, son sincronías que enriquecen las asociaciones entre estos importantes artistas y sus obras; pinturas y cajas cuya unión plantea nuevas historias, a la manera del literario oximorón en el que dos palabras opuestas se juntan para originar nuevas lecturas, nuevos sentidos.
En el transcurso del trabajo, diferentes temas se fueron encontrando entre ellos, desde terribles guerras hasta imaginar, como en la canción de John Lennon, un mundo “viviendo la vida en paz”.
