Teresa Currea takes us on a guided tour of her most recent exhibition "Kokoro." Produced in Japan and Colombia, this exhibition is the story of a voyage where external movement translates into internal action, seeking to discover what lies within ourselves.
The artist left at the beginnning of 2020 to attend a two month residency in Japan, only to find herself unable to return to her country due to the covid pandemic. "Kokoro" is a testimony to this experience of 18 months where fear, happiness, creativity, camaraderie, surprise and so many more feelings and experiences manifested themselves in the artist, only to make her a greater person and artist.
